Pain is real, but so is hope.
I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to open up and find hope and healing.
Having navigated my own challenges in life, I understand how powerful it can be to have someone in your corner. I’m here to be that person for you, offering support, guidance, and compassion as you navigate your own journey.
Hi, I’m Danae!
I’m here to walk with you, providing support every step of the way as you work toward your goals.

My story:
My journey has been shaped by personal challenges, including navigating the aftermath of significant loss and struggling with poor coping skills. While I was able to maintain a functional life outwardly, the pain from my past continued to affect me in ways I didn’t fully understand. It wasn’t until I began my own therapeutic process that I gained the psychological insight I had been missing—insight that has been crucial in my healing. Through therapy, I learned to develop healthier coping mechanisms, challenge negative core beliefs, and, most importantly, practice self-compassion.

These experiences have deeply informed my approach as a therapist. I bring empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help you through your own healing process. I am committed to creating a safe space for you to explore your struggles, and I will support you in gaining the tools and insights you need to live a more fulfilled and balanced life. Together, we will work towards your goals with warmth and understanding.

I have also had the privilege of working at respected organizations such as Eating Recovery Center, The Menninger Clinic, and The Meadows Behavioral Healthcare. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), and I’m currently under supervision to earn my certification as an Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS).
